‘Two and a Half Men’ swaps Angus T. Jones with lesbian character – latimes.com

“Two and a Half Men” is about to become “Two Men and a Gay Woman.”

Partly as a replacement for Angus T. Jones — whose screen time will be sharply cut after he publicly bashed the show as “filth” last year — CBS’ hit sitcom is going to add a recurring and possibly permanent lesbian character named Jenny. She’s the 21-year-old illegitimate daughter of the late Charlie Harper, who was played by Charlie Sheen, who himself was booted from the show after tangling with his bosses…

Lauren Drain, Westboro Baptist Church Escapee, Starts Campaign To Save Others From Cult

Five years ago, Lauren Drain was cast out of the fringe, anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church, disowned by most of the only people she’d ever known and left to fend for herself in an unfamiliar world. Now 27, Drain is launching a campaign to encourage others to leave the group as well, by making it easier for former Westboro members to start new lives outside the “cult.”..

The Holygays

So I was goofing around with a Homo for the Holidays t-shirt when I started thinking. Holidays.

Holigays. Ha ha, that’s funny. Hey, does anyone own the holigays domain name? Let me go find out. What?! No one? No one owns the holigays website? And for just $10 a year I can own it? Oh yeah baby. I can post recipes and t-shirts and decorating ideas! I talked to Kelly and she’s interested in helping me try stuff out, take photos. Damn it will be a fine, fine website. I bought it. I am now the very proud owner of holygays.com

Yes. I spelled it wrong. Holygays.com, not holigays. So now, I have a URL for holy gays. Holigays is already owned. But now I have Holygays.

And that got me thinking about holy gay people, which I know there are some. I mean, saints and stuff. And the whole lesbian nun thing, of course. But then… TA DA! The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence came to mind. If you don’t know who they are, well, sucks to be you. Here’s my t-shirt.

No Permission to Market to me

Ugh. Just donated some money to Wikipedia, and they automatically subscribed me to some mail list without my permission. Sure I can unsubscribe but it takes 4 days (Really? Why?). If you want to be on my Lesbianfunworld mail list (http://www.lesbianfunworld.com/signup.htm), you have to confirm it through a second link (to avoid fake subscriptions which can be used as bullying tactics). If you buy a t-shirt, you don’t get subscribed. You asked for a t-shirt not a newsletter. When you unsubscribe, it’s instant. Why would Wikipedia subscribe you when you donate, have no double-check and then take 4 days to unsubscribe you? Yuck. And yes, I told them what I think of that style of marketing.
