Gardenias Where There Are None

Graduate student Melanie Myer rents a long-vacant house in rural Michigan and ends up being courted by the ghost of a woman who died almost 80 years ago. Filled with all the standard accoutrements of the paranormal (cold spots, strange fragrances, moving objects, intuitive knowledge) and a few that are more unusual (communicating with the ghost via computer), this story features well-defined characters and a nicely-handled (and quite romantic) relationship between Camille and Mel. Fast-paced, well-written, and sexually explicit.

————-

Lesbian ghost novel about a female spirit who communicates with a grad student through her computer.

——-

From Library Journal When graduate student Melanie Myer rents a long-empty house in rural Michigan, she discovers it already has an occupant-one that has been dead since 1914 and wants Mel as her lover. Unexplained fragrances, cold spots, moving objects, and other expected manifestations of the paranormal, in addition to computerized communicaton, are all part of this dynamic, sexually explicit novel. Although this is more of a ghost story than a traditional lesbian romance, the interaction between Mel and the ghostly Camille is highly romantic and emotionally strong enough to appeal to some romance readers.
