The Davidsons seem to be the epitome of the All-American family. Kent is an aspiring politician, Linda, a loving, caring mother, is a former nurse and Sherri is the young daughter whose swimming accident has left her crippled.
Linda, eventually finds her true sexuality in the arms of a lesbian singer. Everything seems perfect until the daughter finally reveals, to her mother, the horrible ordeals her father put her through. The irate woman hires a private investigator and together they expose the sexual predator at the height of his political career.
