An encounter is an unexpected meeting, and Encounters follows the stories of three women who have unusual encounters in their lives thanks to a loop in the space/time continuum. In the first story, a young doctor travels through the Amazon jungles in search of a powerful plant, accompanied by a mysterious Native-born woman. In the second story, a woman travels to Turkey in search of the baby she gave up for adoption, and discovers her eternal love connection. In the third story, two women in Papua New Guinea must confront their past to protect their future.
