Carnival – Provincetown by Charles Fields

A fanciful celebration of Provincetown's annual August parade down Commercial Street, this unique collection of festive, colorful, and outrageous photographs is punctuated by images of wild street costumes, drag bingo, curious spectators, familiar local faces, and guest 'appearances' by parade participants from Key West, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City, Boston, and elsewhere around the country. The whimsical work is accompanied by a narrative text written by former Provincetown resident Gerry Desautels.
