Among the stories in Dangerous Space are a finalist for the Nebula Award, a James Tiptree, Jr. Prize Honor List story, and winner of the Astraea Prize. The collection's closing story, 'Alien Jane,' was adapted for an episode of the SciFi Channel series Welcome To Paradox.
