In the Nick of Time by Linda Kay Silva

Melding historical fantasy, military suspense, and queer romance, Linda Kay Silva’s In the Nick of Time follows the ongoing adventures of Jessie Ferguson, a woman possessing the extraordinary ability to travel through time. In this high-stakes installment, Jessie is forced to fracture her consciousness across eras—sending her soul directly into the dense, volatile jungles of the Vietnam War to rescue her younger brother, while simultaneously dealing with ancient Druidic secrets, the oak groves of Merlin, and the wrath of Morgana. Anchored by a distinct, foundational voice in lesbian genre fiction, the novel explores themes of family survival, deep spiritual bounds, and enduring sapphic love across centuries.
