Lesbos Hill
George P. Toward
Really very upbeat, though unhappy, slick-type paperback. The story is the cut-and-dried ‘end in a murder’ type of thing, but there is one unusual facet which makes this a very interesting book. The main lesbian character, Marzee Gaintor, is clearly a truthful, unadorned, accurate picture of the real lesbian woman as she is most likely to be, and Marzee bears no resemblance to the characters usually to be found in paperback fiction. ~ Gene Damon, The Ladder V.6 N.4
