Little Lost Angel
Michael Quinlan
—
When twelve-year-old Shanda Sharer and her mother moved to New Albany, Indiana, neither was prepared for the way their lives would be altered. Before their move, Shanda was a pretty, smart, and popular girl amongst her peers. Within the first few days at her new school, however, Shanda was involved in a physical confrontation with a girl by the name of Amanda.
Strangely enough, the two girls began spending time together. Around school, Amanda was a well known lesbian, with an extremely jealous girlfriend, Melinda. Not long after the fight, Shanda found herself involved intimately with Amanda, igniting Melinda’s anger.
One night, four girls who considered themselves satan worshipers, decide to play a prank on Shanda, the girlfriend stealer. But soon, what started out as a cruel prank, turns into murder.
This is the true story of teenage girls who lost control of reality, and instead, let emotions take over. The book is compiled from interviews with some of those involved, police reports, and court testimonies. I was intrigue by Shanda’s story; a story of obsessive love, peer pressure, satanism, and murder.
