No Evidence by Nancy Sanra

Private Investigator Tally McGinnis once again returns to the horror filled world of a serial killer. This tale of thriller suspense and chilling speculation sucks Tally and her hard-boiled gumshoe partner, Cid, into a dark, demonic terror of a mind gone mad.

'Somebody loves me, I wonder who. I wonder who.'

Along the Northern California coast, Tally and Cid discover an inept police department and a deadly killer who savagely murders without motive.

As Tally is drawn deeper into the madness, it becomes clear that the killer will only reveal the motive for the grisly murders to her. Antagonized to the point of frenzy, Tally becomes the one woman the killer wants next.
