Essays on the creative, political and artistic worlds of contemporary queer youth, including zine-making, drag performance, online chat, music, porn and organized resistance. Bridging academic and youth perspectives, the contributors examine the regulation of youth sexuality and gender, the embodied experiences of queer youth, and how their lives are represented, celebrating the ways sexual and gender minority youth build subcultures and challenge heteronormative ideas of young people rather than treating them as victims.
