Quertext by Gary Schmidt; Merrill Cole

Queer voices were heard in Germany, Switzerland and Austria decades before Stonewall. This anthology gathers prose fiction by more than twenty contemporary openly queer writers in German, whose work celebrates the present, casts a queer eye on the past and imagines LGBTQ futures. The authors and characters are gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans and nonbinary, exiles, immigrants and time travelers, writing about identity, sexuality, history, fantasy, loss and discovery, from city centers to rural communities.
