“All right, tell me. This was the first time a man really made love to you?”
“Yes.”
“Did you enjoy it or were you revolted?”
“I can’t explain it, Kay.”
“Don’t you understand your own feelings? What were you doing?”
“Kissing, at first.”
“Did you try to stop him?”
“Chuck was pleading with me. It seemed so important to him.”
“Did you enjoy it?” Kay tensely demanded.
“I’m not sure.”
Kay looked at Linda for a moment, then smiled. Then the girl felt Kay’s lips brush her cheek. Slowly, Linda put her hand to the cheek and felt it glowing.
How strange that Kay’s kiss should be more meaningful than anything Chuck had done to her … !
