The Bars Across Heaven by Red Jordan Arobateau

An Afro-American sistuh and her quest for lesbian love. Her days hustling up spare change to survive, and how she is helped by a woman's therapy group in a clinic. You'll find this book intriguing; the theme of sex workers and women paying them for sex is one that should be explored.
