The Bent Guide by Darren Reynoldson

The Bent Guide is the most up-to-date and comprehensive gay guide ever written about Amsterdam. Chock full of information about gay and lesbian tourist traps as well as essential insights into Amsterdam's little known traditional and alternative crowds, The Bent Guide is an extensively researched guide to “everything that's not straight in Amsterdam. Divided into the most basic of human urges: Drink, Eat, Sleep, Shop, Sex, Dance & Learn, its easy to navigate format has something for everyone. From twinks to trendies, to bears, leatherboys and SM dykes. It's entertaining, highly readable and full of indispensable queer info such as what types of people attend a venue, what kind of music to expect and (most importantly!) what to wear.
