The Comedienne by V.G. Lee

'I couldn't believe it at first-that Susan could switch from padded Valentines, eighteen inches high with 'Be mine forever', to not even stopping her car for me to cross on a zebra. If she hadn't recognised me with the added weight, she must have known it was my shopping trolley.' It's time for Joan to try her luck on the London comedy circuit. After all, everybody always said she was a funny woman.

'An easy feel good read, a joy to behold.'-What's On

'An intrinsic truth that pulls you in before you know it.'-Time Out
