Vital Lies by Ellen Hart

In this delightful second installment in Ellen Hart's Lambda Award-winning series, Jane Lawless and her best friend Cordelia Thorn head up to the Fothergill Inn, a Victorian house-turned BB, for Christmas week. They've come to visit Jane's old friend Leigh, who has spent years renovating the house into a successful inn and restaurant. But the rest and relaxation of the countryside is the last thing Jane and Cordelia find-someone has been playing tricks on the inn's guests, and suddenly their tricks are getting dangerous. When one visitor turns up dead, Jane must help her friend get to the bottom of this malicious and murderous turn of events ....before someone else dies.
