White Noise
Eve Zaremba
Sonny, a black American Vietnam War vet and former contact from Hong Kong, calls Helen in desperation. He’s in trouble, and claims he doesn’t know who’s after him or why. Is this wheeler-dealer really in danger, or is this just another one of his scams? Murder, kidnapping and theft catapult Helen into the middle of a complex set of crimes.
Margaret Atwood describes Helen Keremos as ‘a cross between Lily Tomlin and Philip Marlowe.’
