Just Married tells how the Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto decided to test Canadian marriage law by reading the banns on three Sundays before the wedding, as the Ontario Marriage Act allowed, and how the two men and a lesbian couple agreed to be the ones to try. Amid international media coverage, legal and political wrangling, and disputes among religious denominations, it remains the story of two people who chose a life together and sought the support of both church and state."}
