Camilla is a 16-year-old citizen of the North Fork Long Island community. It is full of thinkers, right-wingers (see what I did there?) and racialized conflict. The story tells what Camilla and her group do when they find that Camilla’s best friend Jeff and her love interest, Phil, are lovers. The community reacts predictably with confusion, fear, disgust, and violence. Death and mayhem follow, and Camilla has to face her own attitudes about death.<\/div>\n
