About the Author<\/p>\n

C. P. Whitaker holds a B.A. in Psychology from Millsaps College in Jackson, MS and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS.<\/p>\n

Whitaker most recently spent five years as the Executive Director of a human services agency in North Carolina serving domestic violence and sexual assault victims. Prior to that position, the author worked as a community organizer for Jackson State University focusing on the youth in inner-city housing projects. Whitaker is currently at work on For The Love Of God, the second in this series.<\/p><\/div>\n
