Becca James, a vocalist and guitarist with a dream to make it big, struggles with feelings of unworthiness in her chosen career, which hinges on her ability to sing and strum her beloved guitar, Tangerine Twist. She meets the flirtatious, sexy, folk singer, Kara Travers, who turns her world upside-down. The two quickly hit it off and form a duo, which skyrockets to local success. Kara, with her long, wavy hair and sultry caramel-flecked eyes, drips of wild sex appeal and helps her shed her inhibitions and grow into the musician she’s always dreamt of being. Soon Becca finds herself on an unstoppable, wild ride. She drowns in bad choices and struggles to find happiness where she always thought it would be. She learns that a life of ‘sex, drugs, and rock and roll,’ is shallow, empty, and damaging. Lost and despondent, Becca realizes to get anywhere she must first love herself before she is worthy of another’s love, career success, and personal happiness.<\/div>\n
