Logan is an accused Blood Mage, wrongfully imprisoned for allegedly murdering her own family with her dark powers. Simone Norland is a young noblewoman, the youngest in a family with a long and dark history. Troubled by visions of death and destruction and ferocious beasts, she is thought mad by many, until her visions prove to be prophecies of things to come. When Blood Magic returns to the land of Anolaya, Logan suddenly finds her life spared by the Legion of Blood. Logan is recruited into the ancient order of warriors and tasked with investigating Simone’s wild claims. The two women soon find themselves on the run from a rogue Blood Mage and his horde of bloodthirsty creatures.
