For Rainbow Rosenbloom \u0096 taxi-driver, Chinese-food addict, film critic and niece to a pack of formidable aunts- the answer is startling. Because on this night, she meets the executor of vengeance for ancient wrongs, soul-stealing demon of medieval Jewish folklore and disgruntled employee of Mephistco plc, the endearing dybbuk, Kokos. The ambivalent spook has hunted Ms Rosenbloom down through the ages at considerable cost to her departmental budget and personal self-esteem in fulfillment of a 18th-century curse.<\/p>\n
