Her way of life in the mountains is being destroyed. Her role as warrior is outlawed. Isa journeys to the Federation intent on confronting the policies which undermine the traditions of her people. There she encounters silver filamented communicators, lavender winged flyers, walls oozing life-sustaining liquids, Agents’ apprentices, and the consciousness of Olyeve herself.
