At Last explores what happens when memories, once locked away, resurface and invade the present. <\/p>\n

Helen’s way of being is turned upside down as she becomes better acquainted with Noami, the woman commissioned to paint her portrait. As Noami introduces Helen to the lifestyle she’d never explored before, memories long buried begin to encroach upon her present, and Helen is forced to acknowledge that something is missing from her life. The recollection of passionate feelings she’d had for her college friend and idol resurface with disturbing frequency. What had then seemed like innocent exploration now begins to cause the vague feelings of dissatisfaction with her life to come into focus. Helen discovers that she is no longer comfortable sacrificing who she is for the life she thought she wanted so much. She must make a choice between true happiness and a life that she has worked hard to fashion for herself<\/p><\/div>\n
