Both subtle and intense, Stevens sympathetically gives life lessons to Mar, a newly-queer young man whose heart had been broken. As she recalls her process and inspiration, she reflects briefly on her sexuality. The book had been turned into a movie by the same name, staring Lucy Brightman.<\/div>\n
