She stood and watched as the young girl danced across the floor with the soldier. Mixed emotions poured through her. One part of her reached out for the tall, rugged build of the soldier and one part tingled with anticipation of the evening to follow after she and the girl had left the dance hall. An endless pattern of such emotions flowed through her body as it had since she had first become aware of the differences in people. At first, she accepted the emotions she felt toward, other girls as a normal part of growing up. The realization that she was different came when she became excited while watching Roselle, her younger sister, undress. The delightful swell of Roselle’s breasts caused her breath to catch in her throat and her fingers tingled with the desire to touch them. She and Roselle had been together since Roselle’s birth. Their bed, shared playfully in their tender years, had become a haven of tenderness as they cuddled together in sleep or whisperingly confided to one mother the secrets of life shared only by two who have sprung from the same womb. <\/p>\n

As she continued to watch the young girl and the soldier, she remembered the fascination and awe she had felt when she had held her sister in her arms. The sudden surge of emotion that had followed had left them both spent and weeping. Ashamed to look at one another, Roselle had hurried her face in the pillow and Tina had ran from the room, her strange desires bringing tears of shame to her eyes.<\/p><\/div>\n
