Unexpected Pleasures by Tamsin Wilton

Why do some women become lesbians in their twenties, thirties, or even in their sixties? After interviewing close to a hundred women for an academic project, Dr Tamsin Wilton realised their extraordinary stories should be shared with the real world. Here, she brings together the most moving and fascinating of her interviews, and lively essays on the conclusions from her study. Dr Tamsin Wilton is a senior academic at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Previous books include: 'Lesbian Studies: Setting an agenda and Good for You: A handbook on lesbian health and well-being,'
