Immigration from Latin America and Asia has transformed life in the United States, yet little scholarship has addressed queer immigrants of color. Focusing on migration from Mexico, Cuba, El Salvador and the Philippines, this collection brings together scholars of immigration, citizenship, sexuality, race and ethnicity to analyze the norms, institutions and discourses that affect queer immigrants, with ethnographic studies of how they have changed immigrant communities in Miami, San Francisco and New York.
