Woman Plus Woman by Dolores Klaich

Writing with charm, wit, and intelligence, Dolores Klaich discusses the lives and loves of a representative group of distinguished lesbians including, of course, Sappho, Collette, Renee Vivien, Natalie Clifford Barney, Romaine Brooks, Radcliffe Hall, Gertrude Stein. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, she weaves the lives of dozens of contemporary lesbians into her narrative by way of in-depth interviews and excerpts from a comprehensive questionnaire that was widely distributed in both the public and private lesbian communities of the early 1970's.'.
