Women of Ideas by Dale Spender

Women of Ideas details the work of numerous women, many of whom are lesbian (from Anna Jameson and Frances Power Cobbe to Cicely Hamilton and Adrienne Rich) who have contributed to feminist political thought. In a very energetic and provocative manner, Dale Spender examines how three hundred years of women’s ideas and theories have been removed from historical and literary records by men.
